Overview

Raven is a UK-based e-commerce company. With a primary target audience in the US (40%) and Europe (30%+). The goal was to revise the user experience and design of the previous website, add unique features to involve the target audience, boost conversions, and develop the product with Modern technologies

Problem Statement

RavenGG's existing gaming e-commerce site suffered from poor user experience and low conversion rates. Client needed comprehensive redesign to improve online sales performance and increase revenue through better customer engagement.

Goal

Focused on three key objectives:

-Enhance website user experience through complete redesign
-Implement unique features to engage gaming audience
-Increase conversion rates through optimized customer journey

Research

Competitor Analysis

Analyzed payment flows and checkout processes across gaming e-commerce platforms. Research focused on optimizing payment UX, leveraging existing user persona data and JTBD insights to improve conversion points. This helped inform design decisions for streamlined purchase experience.

Stakeholder test

Created comprehensive design foundation through sequential steps:

-Built wireframes based on e-commerce best practices
-Developed user flow for seamless navigation
-Created interactive prototype
-Conducted 4 key user interviews
-Implemented UX improvements based on feedback

Implementation 3D models
to 3D Buillder

Created custom patterns and wrappers in Illustrator for 3D builder integration. These assets enhanced product visualization, allowing customers to better understand gaming merchandise before purchase.

UI/UX design

Internal dashboard, profile, payment pages

Developed user-centric internal features focusing on three key areas:

-Dashboard for account management
-Profile customization system-
Streamlined payment processes

These improvements made transaction flow more intuitive and user-friendly.

Result

What I have learned from this project

Designers must adapt quickly to new tools and technologies - from 3D modeling to illustration software - becoming versatile problem solvers to meet project needs and deliver comprehensive solutions.
